Inspection & Repair Services
Inspections to NFPA 25 Standards
Annual, semi-annual, & quarterly inspections for fire protection systems
Inspections include: Full building walk through, system drain test (1 per year), flow switch & tamper switch testing. Available on a quarterly/semi-annual/annual/3-year certification/5-year certification.
Backflow Preventer Testing
Testing includes: Testing each device-one time per year or as required by the Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
Fire Pump Testing
Annual Fire Pump performance test and evaluation - one time per year.
Our Inspection Technician is certified in Fire Pump testing through Oklahoma State University.
Fire Hydrant Testing
As required by Authorities having jurisdiction, AWWA M-17 and NFPA standards.
All test reports and tags are included for each of the above tests.
5 Year Obstruction Investigation
As required by NFPA 25, 2002 ed. Section 13.2.1, J&J will provide a comprehensive investigation of the internal pipes and valves to identify any hidden potential causes of blockage or failure. Stagnant water in the pipes/valves may result in corrosion or bacteria causing small leaks which will compromise the fire sprinkler system. J&J will work with you to develop a strategy to resolve any issues both short and long term.
